The
18th WA
Men’s Gathering 2012 program is
currently under development.
The
date has been set : from
Friday 16th to Sunday the 18th November 2012
The
place will be once again Swanleigh in West Swan.
The
Theme has been set: “Lifting the Bonnet on Manhood, let’s have a
look inside.”
Put
away the dates in your diary and assure yourself of a full tune up and service, coming out fully in sync,
calibrated and ready for the next part of your journey.
The WA Men’s gathering this year will explore men’s breakthrough’s
and breakdowns and what is driving men, the road ahead and ask the questions
such as where are we going as individuals and are we there yet?
Maybe you have never thought of attending a Men's Gathering. Well,
think again, as a great opportunity awaits you in November 2012.
What you get
This year's workshops and activities are focussed on aspects that
can enhance every man’s life: Our selfcare / ma(i)ntenance,
where are we going as a person, and community and how are we traveling, do we need to change lanes, slowdown or pull
over for a rest break, repairs or a change of direction.
Interactive workshops aim to enhance your insights into where you
are at and where you are going, and small groups allow you to discuss and
explore personal issues and challenges as well as lessons learnt. You can also
celebrate through dance, sit in meditation, try some yoga, go for a walk or
just relax and have fun. The gathering fee once set includes all meals, accommodation and
activities.
So come along and join with other good men and feel the power of
authentic interaction with likeminded men and experience fellowship whilst
nurturing your true male spirit.

Listen to and participate in workshops on maintaining and enhancing your
health, exploring your creative potential, and developing strong, rewarding
relationships
All men need time away from their day to day routine and time out
to create awareness around where they are at in life, and to enhance their
potential as males in their communities, families, relationships and work. The
Men's Gathering provides a safe and supportive environment to do this. Here we
do not judge success or failure, or pigeon hole people
by occupation, education or earnings. Here we jointly explore our common
strengths and challenges, and value the gifts we all bring through sharing our
life stories and experiences in small groups and workshops.
